hey so theres the red dot tube like scope and then theres the red dot holograph ones thata are only an inch or so thick whats the diference and the price?

red dot's uses red dot's...
holo scopes use a holographic LED (most of the time) which refracts and reflects of strategicly placed mirrors to counteract "ghosting" and misplacement. Imitation holosights are often a solid choice due to the reticle design and the Semi-anti ghosting ability.
Red dot's allow for maximum reflex as it's only a dot.
soo a breakdown would be.
Red dot/ reflexive
(+) CQB
(+) Quick shouldering
(+) Semi-Bright environments
(-) Medium to Long range
(-) Smaller targets
(-) Ghosting
Note: These are often the cheapest
Holo
(+) CQB to Mid Ranges
(+) Quick Shouldering
(+) Darker to mid-light environments
(+) Stops ghosting effect
(-) Long Range
(-) Price
Scope
(+) Long Range
(+) light to mid -light environments
(-) Slow to shoulder
(-) High Profile (30MM and up)
(-) Often Expensive
Iron Sight

for a SCAR, I Fully recommend a Holo-Sight.
Strong functionality, and suits its range and accuracy.
Plus they have a badass factor of +11.

You can, with ease. But be aware- airsoft 'holosights'are not real holosights, they work in exactly the same (well, almost) way as a normal red-dot sight.
EDIT: I just thought, I have at least one of each- would people be interested in a write up on them, the various differences, advantages etc?
