One, I am disappointed to announce that All information on this forum will be lost due to the moving of the site.

Personally, if you are looking to obtain an airsoft weapon illegally then you have no place on these forums, we are here to attempt to LEGALISE airsoft, not carry on breaking the law. Its people that go to these markets and obtain guns ILLEGALLY that are making it so damned hard to get the law changed!!!
Also i can almost guarantee the weapons are of rubbish quality and likely to be just spring powered weapons

That being said!
Airsoft replica's were ONCE allowed in Australia. Thus, odds are some people kept them until now.
So while the rumors may be true, Like DJ said, They would most likely be rubbish AND STILL ILLEGAL!
