Say a field opens up near you! but perhaps, It's not exactly NEAR you...
What i mean to say is, What's the farthest you'd bus, drive walk or hitch to get
    to the location?
    1hr?
    2hrs?
    an entire day?

Odds are fields wont be springing out of the ground. And back-country airsoft will most likely be HIGHLY-ILLEGAL.

of course the field would be good, well kept, and very diverse.

    Input?

haha that show's SERIOUS commitment X3

Reason being is that I was hoping to set up some property more inland of Melbourne or Queensland - Large Parcel of land for cheap!

And if people will drive for say, 3+ hours, I may go for it.

    Thanks for the input DJ

    cheers.

an idea might be to allow camping on part of the site, strictly no shooting, or maybe even hold night games (pistols and single shot only)
That way people could travel the night before, stop at ur site and gets u a few extra $$$

I had never really given any serious thought to this one, thanks for bringing it up Skitch. Real Estate prices are pretty anal these days especially around the major population centers so I think that it is safe to assume that all of us would have to be prepared to travel several hours (or more) to participate in an airsoft match. This is no big deal for me, my job regually sends me all over the place as it is so travelling to get some airsoft action with some good mates is totally worth it cheers

Id like to open a indoor skermish/ firing range it would be good, small for the now like 5 on 5, capture the flag and king of the hill skermishes but they should change the laws to a degree. australia is no fun any more. and paintball bores me.

No im not in the defence theres a place where you can shoot semi and automatics in south aus (firing gallery) but the person who owns thes airsoft imported them before the law changed and he had to get these modifyd down. the one im holding fires at 170 fps! he has more too but at these had to permit and he fought hard to keep them and far as i know hes the only one in australia. i will speak to him and see it he might back the cause!!!!

Hey, I live in Vic and i am in the bush, i have a pretty big back yard that has alot of trees and then down the back the is a fence and then alot more trees and a small hill and a gate so i think my place would be cool for an 'attack and defend' gametype

I have property out in central NSW, situated in Baradine the property is heavily dense with tree's in some places and wide open fields in others, the property is 1,600 Acres and i would be more than willing to allow people on it in the future but i think were moving Sad Keep you updated on the new place.
