The law???

I was wondering if we have a fps law or is it no airsoft guns allowed
i was strolling down the aisles of paddys markets when something caught my eye it was a bb tank,it said Remote controlled airsoft tank take the battle to your living room? then the next thing i saw stunned me even more was this it kind of resembles this but its not that gun https://media.photobucket.com/image/plastic%20airsoft%20pistol/28kevin/AIRSOFTP204HAND.jpg looks similar it was $55 and i thought woo a real airsoft gun oo $55 must be alright no it said on the back 60 fps and i thought what a pitiful toy not wasting 55 dollars on that ill wait till we get the real stuff but is this a turn for the good???

Well i bought a plastic bb gun from the Gold Coast about 4 years ago and the only restriction was you had to be over 15. http://www.collectorsarmoury.com.au/Collectors%20Armoury/default.html

It had crap all FPS and broke within a few weeks (costed me $80! What a rip!). I'm not sure what the government legislation is for them but it must be ok because of the low velocity of the projectile (litterally only flew about 4 meters max).
