ASA: The Team

While I won't be their to run it. I plan on Making an Airsoft Team
Simply AirSoft Australia.
The team would be in Partnership with this site and would receive Lots of media Attention.
(maybe)

The Team would:
-Dress in FULL Aus-Cam
-Carry all standard Equipment.
-Fit in each niche

The team would receive
-an Auscam Hat With Logo
-an Auscam T-shirt With Logo
-VIP status on the Forum
And as much Media Attention as they could possibly want.

i would definately be interested in becoming a member of the Brisbane chapter. Perhaps starting one sooner rather than later may help with the legalization ie- organized club - possible reason for playing airsoft and so on.

Hey with the Australian airsoft team maybe have one in each state and then the state's vs each other that way youy could then pick out of the state team who is in the aus team.

It is a brilliant Idea.

Setting up chapters eventually leading into a national team.
That sir. Would be badass.
however, since I am far made from money,
For the beginnings I will only be able to sponsor one chapter economically.
However the others will be sponsored via the site.

that would be the only way to start it out, at least until we start having international competitions (someday fingers crossed) . I'ld even do as far as having city/town chapters which would also have smaller suburban chapters within them. The more this sport is accessable, the better it will look in the long run.

I agree with the idea of having one ready made team of people. Remember that part of the law that says something about both having a range to use an airsoft replica on and being part of an organised club... It certainly won't hurt. ASA needs a battlecry... I am considering "Bugga", I am sure some of you Aussies should be familiar with that one.

see it is a good idea to have a redy made team more time for the more important things Airsoft GUNS HEHEHEHEH

Might as well clear the muddy puddle.
I will be pro-actively sorting teams for each state, eventually a National Team to hit international events, (all under the ASA banner!)

Currently I'm heartily engaged with Conversing with the gov't types and madly scrawling away at the website.

So, I will need captains in each state,
Section Mods have top spot, but if the wish to share, They can lend off the duty
to a person they deem responsible.
At the moment I'm not taking captain requests.
But soon, Oh so soon I will be, Be expecting!

i vote for the airsoft state of origin

nsw cockroaches vs the qld canetoads (but without the all australian backline)

I'm all for an Airsoft state of origin, it would be a major push toward interstate relations, especially when dealing with legalising Airsoft.
The idea of putting teams together is seemingly endless, just imagine it......suburban teams...city teams...state teams...national teams...commonwealth teams...international teams...(dare i go this far) equatoral teams !!!!


ps- NSW Cockroaches does sound sneaky....scampering around, shooting at us from under the fridge then flying at us and scaring the crap out of us for some wierd reason heh.
