As Pellet said, you would need a license for the ownership of said BB gun, as they are still classed as a class a firearm in AUS i think?
However, if you dont advertise the fact you have it, and are mature while using it, and only use it in ur house/garden, then im sure you will be fine.
just DONT take it on the street.
DO NOT point it at ANYONE (animal or man)
Use proper eye protection while using it
Do NOT fire towards houses or buildings
use ONLY plastic BBs (how you obtain these however is unknown to me as i think that is illegal)
