Channel Ten taking aim at Laser Skirmish

I don't know how many of us here have been watching the news on channel ten the last few days?
But thay have been runing a story calling for the ban on laser skirmish been played on school grounds claiming that it can lead to violent anti social behavior. I know this is not what we normally talk about here but if they get there way it may harm our chances to get airsoft legal? all thay have to say is that simulated war games leads to (violent anti social behavior) this is just not true. I have sent a complaint to the (Free to Air television) stating that i believe the story is unfair and bias. If any one here feels the same as i do pleas make a complaint.

Today its laser tag tomorrow its paintball and then will never get airsoft back!

they are so stupid. i reckon anti-social behaviour is caused by the boredom among the teens. this is why governments spend huge amount of revenue on building sport grounds n centres. their intention is to get teens to hv a hobby instead hving fights.

if they ban laser skirmishes they will never allow airsoft

I agree it is stupid you think they would see the benifits off kids getting regular excercise as well as that all increased activity around the schools will help keep vandalisom down!
and if they can ban laser skirimsh (the softer of the big three) then airsoft will have no chance.
personally i don't think that they can to many laser skirimsh business out there!

i argee its stupid that we have to be punished for a few silly kids starting fights over it. its sad to think thats fights start over it

Well its been some time now since i started this topic and i have not heard any more about banning laser skirmish from schools so hopefully thats the end of it?

Just saw this- yeah there was a massive furor generated by a slow news day. The Premier and the President of the P&C are not changing their decisions re: allowing individual schools to choose who they hire their facilities to, so it has all basically blown over.

Thats good i like playing laser skirmish at schools its something you can't do with paintball and probablly won't be allowed to do with airsoft so when we have all three they will complment each other(paintball,airsoft,laser skirmish) The Big Three

well if this is passed in my area there are open fields with cover and ever thing we have a mobile laser skirmish with we play there and the owners are intrested to expand to an airsoft field

Thats cool i think there will be quite a few skirmish field owners who might give airsoft a go when its passed

One of the operators just lost his field and has a meeting later this week about the future of another one
