Through a bit of digging, I have found that John C. Hanlon has done quite a bit of work for the Airsofting community in Australia.

John has successfully sent in reviews to The APMC’s (Australian Police Ministers Council), and the Ministers Weapons Review Committee. BOTH of the bills have indeed passed!

It has been almost a full year since this passing of these bills.

Now while these two have passed the bill it is still up to the Attorney General to Pass the Bill, finally legalizing the use of Airsoft Replica's for Recreational use.

I have Not found any Information regarding If a bill has been proposed or is is being passed by the AG.
